Beechdean scoop GT4 win at Brands

The #31 Trackspeed Porsche 997 GT3 R of David Ashburn and Nick Tandy made a perfect return in the penultimate round of the 2014 Avon Tyres British GT Championship with victory in GT3 whilst Beechdean AMR enjoyed a strong GT4 victory for Ross Wylie and Jake Giddings in the #407 Aston after a tense and fast-paced two-hour race at Brands Hatch. 

Adam aims for the title

The penultimate round of the Mobil 1 Service Centre sponsored British GT Championship will kick off in just over 24 hours’ time, and with just two rounds remaining, the #1 Beechdean AMR Aston Martin Vantage GT3 duo of Andrew Howard and Jonny Adam have a 23.5 point gap to make up on leader Marco Attard of the #79 Ecurie Ecosse BMW Z4 GT3.

Geoff Steel Racing and Jeff Wyatt join Declan Jones

Reigning GT Cup Champion Jeff Wyatt will join the Mobil 1 Service Centre sponsored British GT Championship, partnering Declan Jones in the #45 BMW M3 GT4 which will now be prepared by renowned BMW specialists, Geoff Steel Racing, for the final two rounds of the 2014 season.

This month’s Mobil 1 Service Centre feature highlights Lillywhite Bros Limited. Formerly Queen Street Engineering, before being taken over by current owners’ Paul and Mike Lillywhite father and uncles in 1949. Oman Racing Team Win GT 500

Silverstone played host to Avon Tyres British GT Championship’s crown event Silverstone 500. Fuelled by WP Racing the Oman Racing Team Aston Martin took the victory for the second time this season with Michael Caine taking the chequered flag by a considerable margin.

This weekend WP Racing will be fuelling the Avon Tyres British GT Championship, crown jewel, event The Silverstone 500. The 3 hour race will see all manner of supercars racing which representatives from the most prestigious brands such as; Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Ginetta, Lotus, McLaren, Nissan, Porsche and Toyota.
